Abstract

The Argentine crisis is the first of a Latin American country in a globalized society. Immersed as we are in a civilizational cycle characterized by the social decentering of politics, cultural relativism, the globalization of the economy and the change in security paradigms, its effects are fundamental to understand the possible scenarios that the region will face in a near future. This mixture of macroeconomic crisis, social disintegration, maximum tension of the federal pact and total loss of legitimacy of the political class and the mechanisms of representation, in a context of diffuse social violence, is ripping apart the country institutionally. Participation in the situation of international organizations outside of all state responsibility, and the development of a human security crisis without clear external solidarity, are disturbing signs of a new international order that is politically and socially absent.
