Open Access Policy

Since 2011, Política. Revista de Ciencia Política provides free, immediate, and open access to its published content under the CC BY-SA 4.0 International license, without requiring users to register. This is based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The journal makes no charge for editing, formatting and publishing the contributions it receives.

The journal adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), highlighting open access, open copyright licenses and open archives. It is committed to providing access without restrictions to the works published in the “back issues” section of the journal.

The journal is defined as a publication in which the copyright holder grants rights of use to third parties under an open license (CC BY-SA 4.0 DEED). This allows free and immediate access to the articles and authorizes any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, crawl them for indexing, transfer them to software or use them for any legal purpose.
