This essay reflects on the environmental problems that occurred in the neighboring towns of Quintero and Puchuncaví, located in the northern area of the Valparaíso region, due to the fact that the industrial park is contiguous. Before this, the following question appears: How do you resist while living in a sacrificial zone? It begins by describing this conflict from its beginning to answer this question. Subsequently, the concepts of power, life and resistance are discussed. Finally, the notion of bio-resistance is proposed to analyze the facts and to rethink the resistance of life itself.
